Water is a very important resource for life. Without it, we would not be able to survive. Every day, we use water for many different purposes. We drink it, cook with it, clean with it, and even bathe in it!

Did you know that water covers more than 70% of the Earth's surface? And of all that water, only 3% is fresh water that we can use. The rest is either salt water from the ocean or frozen in glaciers. So you can see why it's so important to conserve water and not waste it.

There are many ways we can save water. For example, we can take shorter showers, turn the faucet off when we're brushing our teeth, and water our plants during the cooler hours of the day. Every little bit helps!

The daily allowance for drinking water is about 2 liters for an adult. But keep in mind that we also get water from the food we eat, so you may not need to drink as much as you think. For example, fruits and vegetables are mostly made up of water.

So eat healthily and stay hydrated!
