Dr. Steven Gundry is a renowned cardiologist, New York Times best-selling author, and medical researcher who has published more than 80 papers during his career as a research scientist.
In his 40-year-long career in medicine, Dr. Gundry has performed over 10,000 heart surgeries and developed life-saving medical technology. However, in 2008 he revealed his new goal to help patients avoid surgery through diet by self-healing in his book Dr. Gundry’s Diet Evolution.
April 2017 saw the release of his second book, The Plant Paradox: The Hidden Dangers of ‘Healthy’ Foods That Cause Disease & Weight Gain, published by Harpers Wave. This new book contains innovative health discoveries. The New York Times bestseller outlines a 90-day plan to address some of the world's most pressing health issues, from obesity to heart disease.
