A pioneer in Functional Medicine, author of the popular book, The Immune System Recovery Plan, and founder of Blum Health MD.
As an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Blum is a highly-qualified medical professional in the Department of Environmental Medicine & Public Health (EMPH).
She has been board certified in Preventive Medicine and further educated herself with both Functional and Integrative/Holistic Medicine certifications.
For almost twenty years, Dr. Blum has been dedicated to providing treatment and care for illnesses of all sorts; this commitment recently gained recognition from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as they appointed him to their Medical Advisory Board. Her passion is clear in his many successes with preventing and curing chronic conditions.
Dr. Blum is the founder and director of the renowned Blum Center for Health in Rye Brook, New York where her highly-skilled and experienced team provides advanced functional and integrative medical services to patients from all walks of life.
The multi-disciplinary team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nutritionists, and health coaches who are committed to helping people optimize their physical well-being.
Following her enthusiasm for nutrition, she co-founded Organic Pharmer - a portably prepared, functional food and juice cafe that can be delivered anywhere in the country.

Dr. Blum has achieved a variety of academic successes, earning her Bachelor's in Neurobiology and Behavior from Cornell University, a Medical Doctorate from the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn, and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Columbia University.
She looks at medicine and living holistically, incorporating all facets of wellness into each aspect.
