Resistance Training
Resistance training exercises can be any technique in which muscle contracts against some type of resistance. Common techniques for resistance include weight machines, free weights, and body weight.
All parts of the body can be trained by resistance training, but it is most commonly used in strength-training programs designed to increase the size, strength, and power of muscles.
Resistance training is often colloquially referred to as weight lifting and it can be used to develop strength, endurance, and size in muscles.
The benefits of resistance training include burning fat, building muscle and muscle endurance. Resistance training also helps you lose weight and increase strength.
