Dumbbells are weight training equipment consisting of two heavyweights on short metal bars. Dumbbells come in a variety of weights and can be purchased as fixed weights or as adjustable dumbbells.

They are often used for many exercises such as bicep curls, tricep extensions, shoulder presses, and chest presses. They are particularly popular with people who do not have access to large gym equipment or those who like to work out at home.
