The practice of earthing or grounding has become increasingly popular in recent years as people look for ways to improve their health and wellbeing.
Earthing is the practice of spending time in contact with the Earth’s surface, whether that be through walking barefoot on the ground, sitting or lying on the ground, or swimming in natural bodies of water.
There are a number of purported benefits of earthing, including reducing inflammation, improving sleep quality, reducing stress levels, and boosting energy levels.
Some research has shown that earthing can indeed have positive effects on health, but more studies are needed to confirm these findings.
