Dana Laake Nutrition is a nutrition practice located in Kensington, Maryland, specializing in preventive and therapeutic medical nutrition therapy for both adults and children. Licensed nutritionist Dana helps her clients achieve their health goals through evidence-based nutritional strategies tailored to individual needs.

Having earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dental Hygiene from Temple University and receiving the prestigious 50th Anniversary Outstanding Alumnus award, she furthered her education by obtaining a Master's degree in Nutrition at the University of Maryland.

With a plethora of experience under her belt, Dana has successfully acquired multiple roles such as Maryland legislative assistant on health issues and co-author responsible for establishing licensure boards concerning dietetics and nutrition in both Washington DC and Maryland.

To top it off, she was granted four gubernatorial appointments regarding two different healthcare regulatory bodies (dentistry & dietetics).

As an experienced partner of three functional medicine practices and author/host of a radio show, Dana is also a respected scientific advisor and content contributor for the Autism Exchange as well as the Neurological Health Foundation Healthy Child Guide.

Moreover, she has been giving local and national continuing education courses throughout her career in health care.
