Seeking to fulfill her culinary aspirations, Christina Acevedo started her journey in Montreal where she obtained the coveted Red Seal for French Cuisine Chef.

In 2006, after graduating as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, she founded Honey and Vanilla—her own business.

Currently situated on Vancouver Island, she is a personal chef and strives to formulate whole food recipes while leading you towards overall health through the balance of holistic living.

Christina is devoted to helping people uncover the advantages of a holistic way of life through her job as an expert chef, cooking classes, meal planning services, and nutrition talks. She firmly believes that food can heal many ailments - something she witnessed firsthand with her own autoimmune condition after adopting a nutrient-rich whole foods diet.

As part of her mission to educate and connect people with her passion for food, Christina has been a featured chef on television shows such as Food Network's "Chop It Up" and Shaw TV's "Cooking with Acevedo".

She also writes articles for various publications while hosting cooking classes, private dinners, nutrition talks, and workshops throughout the year. Her blog is an ongoing resource for tips and tricks on holistic living.
