Dr. Pamela J. Compart, MD

A developmental pediatrician who treats children with a variety of behavioral and developmental disorders. She has a special interest in treating children with autism spectrum disorders.

Dr. Compart received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. She completed a pediatric residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. (now Children's National Health System) and was selected for an additional year as a Chief Resident.

She performs comprehensive assessments and provides ongoing treatment, combining both traditional and complementary medicine approaches in treating these disorders.

Dr. Compart received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. She completed a pediatric residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and fellowship training in behavioral and developmental pediatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Dr. Compart is board-certified in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. After practicing in a variety of hospital and outpatient settings, she founded HeartLight Healing Arts in November 2001, bringing together like-minded and like-hearted practitioners to work in a truly integrated and caring environment.

She lectures locally and nationally on traditional and functional medicine approaches to the treatment of autism and other developmental disorders. She is a co-author of two books.
