The Matt Walker Podcast focuses on sleep, the brain, and the body. More specifically, it explores how they're all connected and what effects they have on each other.

Professor of Neuroscience at the University of California, Berkeley Matt Walker hosts this widening podcast series to discuss these topics further with fellow scientists for a greater public understanding.

Dr. Matt Walker is a neuroscientist and sleep researcher who has written the book Why We Sleep. He has given a few TED talks and is known for his book, Why We Sleep. Matt is an awkward British geek with a passion for science and communicating science to the general public.

Dr. Walker makes difficult neurological/scientific concepts easy to understand by breaking them down into smaller, more manageable pieces. He is also clear about how the data was collected and what implications it has for our everyday lives.

A must-listen for anybody interested in improving their sleep, which distills a ton of information into a succinct and comprehensive format.
