Dr. Peter Attia, M.D.
A physician, health speaker, and nutrition researcher who founded Attia Medical, PC- a medical practice focused on the applied science of longevity and optimal performance.
Peter is a physician focused on the applied science of longevity which involves improving lifespan and healthspan. His practice deals with nutritional interventions, exercise physiology, sleep physiology, emotional and mental health, and pharmacology.
For five long years, Peter toiled away at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in general surgery. During that time, he won several awards including a resident of the year and author of a comprehensive review of general surgery.
For two years, he worked as a surgical oncology fellow at the National Cancer Institute where his main research topic was immune-based therapies for melanoma.
He has been trained by some of the most experienced and cutting-edge lipidologists, endocrinologists, gynecologists, sleep physiologists, and longevity researchers in the United States and Canada since then.
Dr. Attia earned his M.D. from Stanford University and holds a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering and applied mathematics. He is licensed in Texas, California, and New York.
