Rooted in his conviction that everyone should have access to quality integrative healthcare, Dr. Mark Hancock and his wife Enid founded Humanizing Medicine in Atlanta back in 2015. Their practice has grown over the years, helping countless individuals receive first-rate care.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Hancock has dedicated himself to Anthroposophic medicine - the field that first introduced mistletoe as a viable treatment for cancer 100 years ago.

After graduating with a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee in 1999, Dr. Hancock returned to his alma mater three years later to secure an additional undergraduate degree—this time earning a B.S. in Biology

After commencing his medical journey at Saint George’s University, Grenada, West Indies where he earned his Master's of Public Health with Summa Cum Laude distinction in 2003 - Dr. John threw himself headfirst into several years of further study and research.

Finally, 2008 marked the completion of his degree when he graduated again with the highest honor - Summa Cum Laude - before traveling to England for two years worth of clinical rotations.

After his tenure as chief resident in 2011, Dr. Hancock finished his residency in family medicine and acquired board certification in Family Medicine. His experience also encompasses hospital settings where he has had the pleasure of caring for multiple patients throughout time.

By 2015, he was resolute to provide the advantages of Anthroposophical medicine to a greater number of individuals. As an integral member of the PAAM Physicians’ Association for Anthroposophical Medicine and earnestly working towards becoming certified in this field, he strives to make his goal a reality.
